Program Directors will be responsible for overseeing the Third-Party Organizations compliance to the WWFY Abuse Prevention policies.
Third Party Organizations providing services at the WWFY’s facilities fall within the scope of the organization’s abuse prevention policies. Program Directors will be responsible for overseeing the Third-Party Organizations compliance to the WWFY Abuse Prevention policies. This includes:
- The completion of the Child Abuse Prevention course administered through Redwoods.
- Signing the Child Abuse Prevention Attestation.
- The completion of a Background check either administered by the Third-Party organization with documentation provided or administered by the WWFY.
In addition, Program Directors will be responsible for scheduling and conducting routine observations using the Checklist for Monitoring Third Parties to ensure they are following the WWFY procedures. These observations will be documented by the Program Director and kept in a secure file.

Checklist for Observing/Monitoring Third-Party Organizations
- Are only authorized personnel working at the facility for the Third-Party Organization?
- Is the Third-Party Organization following all the correct policies and procedures as it related to monitoring youths at the facility?
- Does the Third-Party Organization have the appropriate adult to child ratio during their program?
- Has the Third-Party Organization completed all the background screening requirements?
- Are employees present or available during the Third-Party Organizations program?
