Monitoring Compliance with Operational Standards

WWFY Process for monitoring compliance with operational standards and shifting quickly if those standards are not met

WWFY recognizes the importance of maintaining compliance with operational standards and moving quickly to fix any deficiencies that are identified. To support these efforts, WWFY uses several mechanisms to ensure the highest quality standards are met. These include:

  • Analysis of Incident Reports – This is reviewed quarterly by the safety committee.  The goal is to address any potential issues with the facility or the WWFY polices that could present risk of non-compliance with WWFY policies and procedures.
  • WWFY will take swift corrective action to address any deficiencies and ensure staff are aware of any changes to the existing polices.
  • Consistent monitoring of WWFY programs – This is conducted by the Program Directors on a routine basis. The goal is to ensure staff are aware of existing policies and behave in a manner consistent with these policies.
  • For any identified deficiencies, the Program Director will take the appropriate measures to ensure the deficiency is resolved.
  • Annual review of Child Abuse Prevention policies and procedures – In conjunction with the safety committee, an annual review is conducted on all of WWFY Child Abuse Prevention policies. Any updates to existing policies are then communicated to staff for awareness and understanding.
  • Annual Child Abuse Prevention training – All staff and volunteers are required to complete annual child abuse prevention training to ensure they stay current with the WWFY expectations.
